    broken emissive light reflection

    Can anyone suggest a fix for the broken reflection of the tube light I have in my scene? The tube light is a long curved tube of geometry with an emissive material to cast light. You can see its location just above the wood portion of the wall.
    I have a planar reflection above my floor. When I pan the camera across the scene, the tube light reflection randomly breaks at various locations as shown within the magenta rectangles.

    It looks like you have a normal map on the floor and that's distorting the reflection

      I do have a normal map, but something else is going on because its not breaking reflections of the other objects in the scene, just the tubelight

        If you remove the normal map from the floor does it still happen?

          I found a tutorial that went over how adjust settings to get better quality of image with planar reflections. It fixed it up. Thanks for helping out DV
