    UI asset optimization

    *warning this might be a dumb question*

    im adding ui assets into umg all sized to the power of 2, my question is if lets say I have an asset with original size 102x112 and i change the canvas size to 128 x 128 and now theres a bunch of extra white space im not using. Is it better to import the asset like that(with the white space) and keep my asset untouched or scale the asset to fit the new cavas size so the engine has to render less whitespace (but risk pixelating my asset a little)?
