How do you make a floor border texture?

I don't know how to describe it so I can't find any information on how to do this. How would I go about making a floor similar to the picture I uploaded? Is there a way to make it procedural?

There's a few options. But for this particular case, I'd use option 1.

1. Use extra geometry and assign a different material to each section.

2. Use decals.

3. Take advantage of UV position/rotation and use the material editor and possibly vertex colors to tint the wood.
