    Material get Translucent when player is far.

    Hi! I have this material and it gets translucent when the player isn't walking on or above it. I need some help

    Isn't that the point of opacity? I think if you want the opacity to vary based on distance, you need to implement that logic into your material. Off the top of my head, I think you can use a DepthFade function (or something like that). A quick search in the documentation revealed this: https://docs.unrealengine.com/en-us/...erence/Opacity

    Not sure if that will help, but it won't hurt to look into it.

      junfanbl I want the material looks transparent only on the holes. But right now the material dissapears when the character go far but the camera still looking at it.

        set it to masked instead of translucent.
