    UNREAL UE 4.19 - Mesh holes when importing from Autodesk Maya, why? - Image attached

    Hi, since days ago i have been re-topo allmost every mesh i send to Unreal, because UE doesn´t read well some faces..... then y have to move vertex points en reimport until the holes are fixed, why this happens? Is there some import option to fix it ...

    Are you normals all facing the right direction? In maya go to Shading/backface culling and check it. If the faces turn invisble when you do this then its the normals facing the wrong way.
    In Mesh Display under normals you have some tools to work with normals. Faces are not double sided by default so if you are viewing them from the wrong side in UE4 they appear invisible.
