    Did you try the tube lights yet? You can do pretty neat neon stripes with it (and its also adding nice tube specular highlights^^)

      Are there really "tube lights" actors ? (a blueprint maybe ??)

      The bad news :
      It should be noted that light emission is still calculated as if it is coming from a single point. The effect exists only within reflections.

        I apologize if I came off as condescending. Do you have a screenshot of your scene in UDK at all? Kind of curious how it looks there with baked emissive.

            Hmmm...thats weird...i tried them and they also emitt tube shaped. At least it looked like tgey do.

            Seriously...how could you call it a area light if it doesnt emitt in the source shape? aw man Epic^^

              They definitely are not illuminating in a tube shape

                Tube Light is a bit of a misnomer - it is a light with length. The Radius is only visible in reflections.

                Light is emitted across it's entire length. However, shadows are cast from the origin point - it does not cast shadows in a GI sense.



                (It is not an area light, as someone suggested)
