    Client side vs server side for alpha

    Today is day 3 of my journey as an indie game dev. I have big plans, the story and title are coming along great. I hope to have a planet mapped out and mob spawns with RNG item drops. The Alpha will hopefully bring some much needed crowd source funding. What I am trying to do is create a mass effect, destiny type mmo dungeon crawler, with space combat. I want hardcore world pvp, with item loss. I want a crafting system, player cities & vendors. I want item decay.

    I guess the question is, I really don't like client side games, that allow modification of the games memory through trainers. But I don't think setting up a server with bandwidth costs is economically feasible as well currently. Anyone else care to chime in?
