    Is there a component - or a quick and easy way - to simulate hammering a nail into an object

    Hi.

    I was just wondering if there was an easy way to simulate hammering a nail into an object/actor.
    Or for example using a saw to cut an object.
    Basically any kind of gameplay that involves push a sharp object through an actor.

    For the nail example would I get the vector locaiton of the nail and then basically just "shorten" the nail as the nail is moving forward along its forward vector?

    Sounds good for the nail, you could do that. You can also create a two frame animation of the nail being hammered or you can create a single morph target or pose and turn that value up to 1 when hammered.
