Switching weapons messes up my movement.

So I made another weapon for my FPS project (a SMG, the first weapon being a Rifle) and when I switch to it, it messes up my character's movement. When I hit any of the movement keys it moves my character left very quickly. Jumping and crouching still works by it looks really buggy. When I switch back to the Rifle my movement goes back to normal. Anyone got a solution or know what's going on?

I'm going to take a quick guess and say that the model for your new weapon has collision turned on, which is causing the character to overlap/bump into it creating a stutter in movement. Try making sure collision is set to no collision on the weapon model and see if that fixes it.

That was it. I never would've guessed that though because the Rifle mesh also had collision turned on but I had normal movement when using it. Maybe it's just the positioning or the way it's shaped. Either way thank you.
