Target Actor returning none even though my AI is moving towards player character

I am trying to set up a basic AI move to player if detected system.

I have run into a bit of a problem where my blackboard hits an error (target actor stays as none) except my AI is still moving to my character.

This may seem fine but as soon as i try to implement any other logic the whole blackboard just refuses to work.

Has anybody else had a similar problem to this? any help would be appreciated.

Under TargetActor in the BlackBoard key you have it set to object which is correct. However, below there are options as to its type. Change it to Actor. That should fix it. If not let me know.

From the Docs.... Object Key Specifics

Object Keys are special in that you can change their specific type. This enables you to store any type of data that inherits from Object (such as Actors) in them.

As some Decorator and Service functions require Actor Keys, this is how you change an Object Key into an Actor Key.
    1. Select an Object Key
    2. In the Details Panel, expand the Key Type property.
    3. Change the Base Class property to the desired Object Type.
