How do I remove a widget from outside the widget blueprint?

I'm trying to remove the inventory widget from the player blueprint. The inventory closes and shows up fine but I don't understand how to close the widget from outside the UI widget. I stored the widget in a variable try to remove it. Can anyone explain of why this does not work?

PS. for moderator when creating a topic it says "gallery title" that seem not right.

Set Input Mode UI Only blocks the controller input. When you hit Tab second time, it simply does not fire. The rest looks good.

Oh hmm how would I go about making this work? I can't assign TAB to close it (from within the widget).

I tried the following but the event tick ofcourse closes it the moment I open the inventory with the initial TAB press...

Nah, let's do it. In your widget create a custom event and tick isFocusable:

Name:	remove.png
Views:	44
Size:	61.2 KB
ID:	1357736

In the same widget, override OnKeyDown like so:

Name:	graph.png
Views:	43
Size:	95.9 KB
ID:	1357735
