    Sky sphere and lighting issue

As shown in image, the light source is slicing the my sky sphere in half.

I modeled the sphere in 3D max, imported it in as an asset and applied a Jpg image as material.

Any tips on how to override shadow for the sphere asset? I tried to adjust the asset settings but nothing seems to work. Or perhaps I should do my city backdrop in a different way?

    Thanks.

You might want to use an "unlit" shading model for the sky sphere so that it doesn't get affected by any type of lighting.

That turned the entire sphere pitch black though

I think you're missing to set it as emissive...
