    details quality at distance? i need help

    i'm working on a project with small detailed objects. when i go far from it details will be disappear also the AO it'll disappear :/
    hwo i can keep the quality, details and AO when camera is far.

    I would do this kind of detail with baked normal and AO maps. Close up you won't see much of a difference. But you can see details much better from further away. You could even use LODs so you keep the high poly for being up close.

    Remember normal bakes don't pick up 90 degree angles very well. You got the chamfer edge but you might not get the depth unless you tilt the extruded edges a little bit.
