    Trying to socket weapon to player - Once I preview a specific animation the weapon stays behind

    I'm using the free animation starter pack from Epic along with the default Gun from the FPS template. I went to my right hand and created a new socket naming is AssaultRifle_Socket. When I preview the mesh it snaps to the Socket no problem. However, when I try top preview an animation the gun stays behind and the player continues his animation. I'm not sure what i did wrong. Is the socket not attached to the player properly?Click image for larger version
