I'm a little unclear about how I test leaderboard functionality and was hoping someone could give me some advice.

I've setup a leaderboard in the google play developer console and added the name and ID in the project settings within the unreal editor.

Can I test the leaderboard by packaging and deploying to my android tablet or do I need to upload the apk to the developer console as an alpha/beta test to be able to test game services.

I've tried to read/write to leaderboard integer and show platform specific leaderboard screen but nothing happens. I'm trying to work out if it's an error with my blueprints or me misunderstanding how to setup everything to be able to test.

Any advice on leaderboard/achievement testing would be great.
