    For all those who have nVidia Tegra nSight issue, complaining about missing Visual Studio.

    The real reason for the error is that nVidia Tegra 3.1 requires Visual Studio 2010.

    What im trying:
    Since i have Visual Studio 2015, im downloading nVidia Tegra 3.3 which has Visual Studio 2015 support.

      Using the AndroidWorks installer is the easiest way to get the correct Android NDK and SDK and make sure the environment variables are set properly. You can download the r10e NDK and the SDK (need API 19) if you like.
      For me, got the problem fixed after installing VS.

        I´m having the same problem and I don´t think it´s a documentation issue. The AndroidWorks installer itself is the one that says it´s not compatible with Visual Studio 2015.

        You download UE 4.12.3 (which requires VS2015) and it comes with the installer for AndroidWorks 1R1 (which requires VS2013 during installation and doesn´t support VS2015).
        So what´s the deal? Is it ok if I just download AndroidWorks 1R4 from Nvidia and use it with UE 4.12.3? Is it officially supported? Is there a reason UE comes with a year old installer of AndroidWorks that works with another version of Visual Studio, instead of the more recent one?

          Use the CodeWorks for Android 1R4 installer in 4.12 Engine/Extas/AndroidWorks. It does support VS2015. This is basically the same as the Nvidia installer but preconfigured with the minimum requirements for UE4 4.12 to work (correct versions of the build tools, platform 19 and 21, ant, and jdk1.7).

            I'm trying to build my app for android 4.2.1 (API 16) and above but i have problems...
            I downloaded Android 4.2.1 (API 16) SDK Platform and ARM EABI v7a System Image from CodeWorks and they're installed.
            In Project Setting for ue4 Android SDK i set SDK API Level and NDK API Level to "android-16"
            And in Android->APKPackaging I set Minimum SDK and Target SDK to 9
            And in Android->Build only Support armv7 and Support OpenGLES2 are enabled
            And in CodeWorks I have Android NDK 11c and Java SDK 1.7.0_71

            I download UE4.12.2 from Github and compiled by my self And this is my log on build Android ETC_1

              Don't change the NDK or SDK API levels; leave these at android-19 for NDK and matchndk for SDK. If you want Android 16 as minimum, just change the minimum SDK setting.
