    How to test your own Admob Ads (4.24)

    Im trying to figure out how to get admob working. I can get the android build folder to work, and i can get the sample ads from here https://developers.google.com/admob/android/test-ads working fine too. When i use the ad ids from my google admob account though, nothing happens. is there something special you have to do to actually see the ads? btw, im not releasing this app just testing admob features so i dont care if they suspend my account or whatever for clicking my own ads, i just want to make sure i cant get the process working

    Hello,@ViceVersa

    Follow this steps,To How to test your own Admob Ads (4.24)

    Step 1:-Load your ads-integrated app and make an ad request.
    Step 2 :-Check the logcat output for a message that looks like the one below, which shows you your device ID and how to add it as a test device

    Code:
                  I/Ads: Use RequestConfiguration.Builder.setTestDeviceIds(Arrays.asList("33BE2250B43518CCDA7DE426D04EE231"))
                   to get test ads on this device."
    Copy your test device ID to your clipboard.

    Step 3 :-Modify your code to call RequestConfiguration.Builder.setTestDeviceIds() and pass in a list of your test device IDs.

    Code:
                   List<String> testDeviceIds = Arrays.asList("33BE2250B43518CCDA7DE426D04EE231"); RequestConfiguration configuration =     new                                                              RequestConfiguration.Builder().setTestDeviceIds(testDeviceIds).build(); MobileAds.setRequestConfiguration(configuration);
    Step 4 :-Re-run your app. If the ad is a Google ad, you'll see a Test Ad label centered at the top of the ad (banner, interstitial, or rewarded video):
    Ads with this Test Ad label are safe to click. Requests, impressions, and clicks on test ads will not show up in your account's reports.

    I hope this information will be useful.
    Thank you.

      thanks for your reply a couple questions though

      which log should i be checking? Neither the output log nor the command promt that pops up when launching seem to have that message in them

      How would I go about adding that RequestConfiguration line? I probably should have mentioned this is a blueprint project
