Im a terrible terrible human being and completely forgot to mention the Concept artist behind the scene. His name is Oskar Firek you can see his spectacular works in classic visualisation on Behance or his site "ofdesign.pl".
space action game prototype and Universe background and planet creation blueprints
I did a little space action game prototype. I put my Universe background and planet creation blueprints to some use. This is a video showing a basic implementation of the look and feel of the game concept in action.
I am flying the ship with an Xbox 360 controller and the basic AI Turrets and ships are attacking.
By the way, I am looking for some help on the programming side of things to take this a bit further. Just contact me if you find this interesting.
Yes, well it's more of an engine that can be setup across multiple business structures.
What your seeing is the system I aptly call FATE. The lights you see are first spawned in a virtual environment by live audio streamed from the Dj. The audio itself can control anything as I showcased earlier with that tree video. These lights are then exported to real led light set wirelessly throughout the venue. These are used as bloom lighting ie if I were projecting a fireplace it would bloom the light from the projected image into the room in whatever area it's located at the time. But the real meat and potatoes behind FATE is it's ability to keep everything in time to the music of the Dj. This allows me to offer you the guest a variety of ways to interact with the Dj and the venue without ruining the show. An example would be if I gave you a laser pen that shot fireworks, your free will would allow you to shoot as many fireworks as your little heart desired, but FATE controls how far it goes and when it actually explodes. So no matter where or when you shot your fireworks, they would all explode to the beat of the Dj. And that's just the way it is.
