    Hi All

    We're happy to announce the first official release of our plugin.

    DirectInput Manager is an Unreal Engine 4.1x Project Plugin that allows you to process input from any input device using Microsoft’s legacy DirectInput API.

    Entirely written in C++ without any third party libraries it allows you to easily implement support for older Joysticks, Flight Sticks, Driving Wheels, etc. and to add Force Feedback effects on supported devices.

    I downloaded your free Edition of the plugin and I like it very much. Do you have any plans to add an effect file load option in your plugin. We have a lot of old FFE files which we would like to implement for our flight sim Project.

      Thanks for your feedback; "A load effect from file" feature is also planned. The idea is to use the microsoft ffe editor (included in DirectX 8.1 SDK) to create and edit files and to add a Blueprint function within the plugin to load the files. A save to file feature will also be included at some point.
