The NDA (nondisclosure agreement) is to allow qualified candidates to view unreleased information & specific's to the game being currently developed during the interview process. This is for when above mentioned qualified candidates are in the interview process they don't steal, use or recreate intellectual proprieties and or related materials shown to them for their specific job role(s). No where in there was mention of individual contract.

The specifics of individual contracts are that based upon individual basis. In basic terminology you aren't legally allowed to discuss your contract with others because it's a legal binding contract. We understand and have taken into consideration your view points & personal opinions expressed.

The advertisement on CryEngine suggests the previous hire of a Game Designer was royalty based.

Game Dev. needed for 3rd person - (Royalty)

Due to the lack information chosen to be given you can only assume it's the same for this. Them full well knowing that a Royalty based contract is not enough to get a Programmer excited especially a Programmer with the criteria they're asking for.

looks like they were using unity at one point in development. Now they have switched to UE based on publicly available information.
