    Project won't open anymore!

    PROBLEM FIXED! I remembered I had moved some files, and made some new folders. I right clicked on the Content folder within the engine and selected fix redirectors, and the error is gone! The only thing I noticed the first time I open a blueprint it takes a few seconds to load up but it's a lot faster afterwards, so all good. Thanks everyone for your help.

    Hello all, this morning I tried to open my project, and in my surprise, I got an error! It was working fine last night.
    I tried to delete all binaries, cache etc but it still won't open!(Deleted all folders except Config, Content, Plugins and Source). I also updated my graphic card drivers just in case. I can open other projects though.
    This is the error I am getting at ~92%:

    Hmm, dont know why this happened, but you could just create a new project + copy and paste the content folder from the broken one into the new

      Thanks for the tip my friend. While I was doing that, I thought I should copy my config files(or at least most), although I knew it might cause problems again, and it did. Turns out, when I removed this part from my config, the project worked again:

        Well things just got a lot weirder. I removed all config files from my new project, it loads up fine. However, if I try to open my Game Mode blueprint or Player Controller, the engine crashes. I restarted, tried to open the Game Mode, crash. Then I restarted, and opened an actor blueprint which barely had any code in it, and it opened just fine! Then I tried to open the game mode file, and it worked! So the only way to open Game Mode or Player Controller (perhaps other files too) is to open an actor blueprint first. Also the first time it opens, it lags a little bit. I will clean the engine binaries and rebuild it, something seems to be wrong.

          I have this problem with bigger levels. I can't open them directly on Engine launch because the engine will crash but if I first open a simple level and then the complex one it works fine.
          For me when the engine crashes it also crashes my graphics card driver.

            If you use world composition and opened a sub level without loading the persistent level in before, yes this happened to me too. I thought this might be because actors use code or components from the base level. Since i then begun to always load the persistent level first, or levels without world composition, i did not gave it more thought.

              I just updated to 4.14.1 but unfortunately it still doesn't work properly. Even if I have an empty map with a custom game mode, the engine crashes when I open the level. What's even more odd is that I can't even right click on the game mode file, it will crash! I can only right click on it if I open an actor blueprint first! I will try to work like this but I hope it gets fixed soon. The same happens on my character blueprint, controller and more, not just on the game mode file.

                  At least in the game mode no, It only has a bool, a save game reference and a transform array with respawn points, and I haven't edited any of those in a long time.
                  It also has 4-5 functions for saving/loading data but I haven't edited any related items/files in a long time.

                    I just tried to open my Menu Game Mode, which is empty, I just didn't want to have the normal Game Mode, and it still crashes! It doesn't have anything in it! Sorry for the multiple posts, I hope they mods won't get mad about it. Just updating with some information!

                      I removed it from my old project and it works now. So either my map, game mode or game instance got corrupted somehow. I will investigate more and post again.
                      I didn't know what happened to my projects, I didn't touch it for a while then suddenly I can no longer open it. Deleting all intermediate and temporary projects and re-generate project files doesn't help. However DjSt3rios's solution helped solve the problem.
