      I wont put it on the marketplace, because it takes too long till the assets are updated (when I add new meshes I want, that you guys immediately get them) -> so probably in the future I will do it

        Anything I try putting into my project turns grey and doesn't work. I loaded the vegetation_pack project and migrated everything into my project, what am I doing wrong?

          If something is grey, then the default material has been applied to it and/or the shaders related to it need to be recompiled.
          You may need to manually assign the correct material or wait for the engine to recompile the shaders.
          A message should appear if its compiling shaders.

          Are you sure the materials migrated with other assets?
          Rule#21: Be polite, be professional, but have a plan to kill everyone you meet.

                Check out the video at the top of the page

                -check if the material is still assigned to the mesh
                -migrate the meshes -> then it should also migrate the materials + textures

                  Sadly I have the same issue. Whether I copy the files into my project directory, or migrate them from your project, every single material gets its textures unassigned and every model its materials. Of course it's possible to reassign everything, since all the files are there, but it's still very peculiar.

                  Nonetheless I am very grateful for this pack.

                    Hmm, that's strange. Probably something has changed with the 4.7.3. I will go and check it

                      Hi guys, (and hello fighter)

                      Thanks for this awesome pack but question: I get really high performance impact in the example maps that come with this. Or even when painting the foliage on a newly created map. Is this usual? (4.7.3)

                        It depends on your specs and which mesh/material you use + how high your density is?
                        How many fps do you get?

                          The video card is meh but it still plays many games on very high settings smoothly. When I first read with new shading model we could paint millions of vegetation I was happy but now I can't go anywhere with even a small bunch of (any) foliage.

                            -run your pc with the "high performance" power settings
                            -make sure to close all programs
                            -decrease the amount of placed meshes
                            -decrease the view distance -> cull start and end in the foilage tool
                            -use the grass basic material + delete the wind effect

                            Ok, your are doing something wrong. Could you post your steps how you get the assets into your onw project?

                              Indeed, I figured it out just now! The references inside the assets seem to be absolute paths from the root directory (Content/), not relative to their locations. Therefore it's not possible to copy or migrate the folders from inside the root of your project into a subdirectory of the target project (e.g. Content/VegetationPack/). I solved this by opening your project, moving all the files into a subdirectory from inside the editor (- this updates the references), and copying or migrating them after that.
