You have to reassign the materials to the material slots -> but when you have migrated everything correctly, this shouldnt happen. Have you done everything like in the video?

Use on of those ways to solve the problem:
-just extract the package and use the included project
-migrate some assets into your own project -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GsA5SlMqsvg
-reassign the materials and other missing stuff (the references get lost when you dont keep the folder structure)

Do you know if this could be improved on the future releases of the engine?
I mean, is really annoying. For example if you buy some stuff from the marketplace and the seller decide to use the folders structure like "Content/SuperbestMaterialPackForYou/anUselessFolder/Materials/" you have two options, keep that structure for your project or start to assign all the textures for all the materials, which sometimes is not easy if the material is complex and you don't know exactly what texture put in each node.
I suppose i could make a feedback thread..

You can move them inside the content browser, then it will keep the referneces -> after that you have your folder structure + you can move it into your own project

I tried copy and paste, drag and drop, and migrating. I'm using 4.7
You have done it exactly like in the video?
1. extract the rar file
2. open the vegetation project
3. right click on the asset that you want - migrate - choose the content folder of your new project
4. click ok and open your new project
5. now it should work

Hmm, really strange. It seems like you are doing something wrong. Just add me in skype and we will solve it (unfortunately I just have time after Thursday) -> nasph96 (Philipp)
Make sure to click on the "show message log" button when you get the upper warning + post it in here

sorry for the delay, Really? well i never can do that, i mean, yes, I can move assets in the content folder, but leaves a lot of "empty" folders behind.
For example i recently purchased the zombie bundle ( i really like the animations and it is on sale now), when you import the package into the project you get a "zombie 1" and "zombie2" folders in the content folder root.
I moved the two folders to a assets/characters folder. Now i have 4 folders (two zombie1 and tho zombie2), the empty ones and the moved ones, and you CAN'T delete the "empty" ones in the content browser and if you delete from the windows explorer you loose all the references and you end up with mess assets.
Probably i am doing something wrong, but it should be simple, i mean, move folder --> to --> there, end of story. This is my top one feature that i miss right now.
(i tried fixing redirectors too)
I didnt try with this package, but it shouldn't be different i suppose.
