    [GAME] UE4 Gear VR app released- uses Stereo Cubemaps to create poly heavy environments that run on mobile.

    Hi folks, apologies for the shameless self promotion but I'd like to let you know that I've just released my first VR app in the Gear VR store.

    It's a relaxation/meditation app called Just Relax.
    I thought it may be of interest as it utilises a mix of 3d rendered stereo panoramas and real time game vfx. I wanted high res 3d geometry and textures for the app but the constraints of mobile lead me to using this hybrid solution to get the best of both worlds.

    This way I can have high res 3d scenes with full bounce lighting and shaders like reflection and refraction that would be way too expensive for mobile to handle and I can use real time elements as well.
