From the screenshots shared prior in the thread the solution is actually much more simple, the simulation isn’t generating Hit Events because it’s disabled.

In case this helps anyone. For me it did not trigger because i attached my actor to another actor, who did not have “Simulation Generates Hit Events” enabled.
It seems both relevant meshes need to have it.
